Box Score BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Lady Tiger tennis ended its quest in the Mid-South Conference tournament, falling to University of the Cumberlands in the semifinal match, 5-2, at Keriakes Park.
The 17
th ranked pair of
Kaede Amano and
Majella Nobile came out with the lone doubles win over Isabella Dale and Jaclyn Jewell, 8-4, hoping to set the tone for the match. However,
Grace Rowe and Kylie Murray fell to Maria Ochoa and Marian Bogajo, 8-2, and
Bolor Enkhbayar and
Elizabeth Boik fell to Luka and Denee Lyttle, 8-6.
University of the Cumberlands kept their momentum through singles, claiming three of four matches, leaving two unfinished. Enkhbayar claimed the lone victory over Jewell, 6-2, 6-3; Amano fell to Dale, 6-2, 6-1; Rowe was defeated by D. Lyttle, 6-2, 6-0; and Harris fell to Bagajo, 6-2, 6-2. Nobile's match against Ochoa and Murray's against L. Lyttle were both abandoned.
