Box Score MOBILE, Ala. — Lady Tiger tennis dropped its NCCAA Championship pool play record to 1-2 after a 5-2 loss to No. 1-seed Indiana Wesleyan on Wednesday morning.
The Lady Tigers will still advance to the semifinal round on Thursday but will play the Wildcats once again. First serve goes up at 10 a.m. ET at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center.
CU's lone win in pool play came on Tuesday afternoon with a 5-0 victory over Bethel College. The Lady Tigers lost to two-seeded Oklahoma Baptist, 5-0, as well.
Indiana Wesleyan swept pool play with victories over Emmanuel College (5-1), Colorado Christian (5-0) and CU (5-2).
In the opposite semifinal bracket, Oklahoma Baptist will play Emmanuel College.

The Lady Tigers earned a doubles victory as No. 1-seed
Kaede Amano and Mejella Nobile defeated Alex Mella and Lizzie Bauss, 8-4. But the Wildcats won No. 2 doubles 8-1 over
Kyleigh Murray and Brookelyn Harris, before taking a 2-1 match lead with a hard fought win at No. 3 doubles, 8-6, over
Bolor Enkhbayar and
Elizabeth Boik.
In singles, CU earned only one win, as Enkhbayar took down Mella, 7-5, 6-3.
Indiana Wesleyan sealed the match at Nos. 4-6 singles. Murray lost 6-1, 6-1, Harris lost 6-0, 6-1 and
Haley Owens lost 6-0, 6-1.
The three-seeded Lady Tigers are seeking their first NCCAA Team Championship, which is scheduled for Friday at 10 a.m. ET.
