GEORGETOWN, Ky. — Kaeda Amano and Majella Nobile finished runner-up at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Southeast Regional at the Lackey Tennis Center.
 
The Lady Tiger duo lost to top-seeded Minja Gilgic and Jovana Peric from Lindsey Wilson College, 8-6.
 
Last season, this CU duo finished with a 18-5 in doubles, while Amano earned NAIA First-Team All-American honors.
 
The Lady Tigers will now have two weeks before opening it's 2017-18 dual season vs. Indiana University East on Sunday, Oct. 8 at 1 p.m. ET.
 
With the runner-up finish, Amano and Nobile are seeking an at-large bid to the ITA Oracle Club in Roma, Ga. On Oct. 11-15.
