CEDARVILLE, Ohio- After two days of competition the Lady Tigers were able to pick up more All-American finishes to complete the meet in third place overall.

Haley Payton secured her first national title of her career this afternoon when she won the women's triple jump with a distance of 11.00m on her first attempt in the finals. Teammate
Teychiana Dornan was able to join Payton on the podium with a runner-up finish in the event with a distance of 10.87m. Dornan and Payton were also able to walk away with points in the long jump when Dornan received her second All-American of the day with a second place finish in the event with a mark of 5.36m. Payton finished fourth just missing All-American honors in the event by .03m with a jump of 5.26m.

Jasmin Green was able to break her school record in the weight throw, securing her first All-American honor of her career this afternoon with her final throw attempt with a distance of 15.24m.
Riquel Williams was able to help Green in scoring in the event as she finished fifth and earned four points with a throw of 12.58m. Williams missed All-American in the women's shot put with a fourth place finishing throw of 11.33m.

In two relays ran Saturday afternoon, the Lady Tigers were able to pick up points in both events. In the 4x800m relay
Maggie Parrish,
Taylor Cox, Alexis Hunt, and
Madeline Rhoads placed fourth in the event with a time of 11:03.68. Hunt, Parrish, Cox, and
Maliyah Taylor were able to place fifth in the 4x400 with a time of 4:30.02.

In the 60m dash finals, De'avion Mahone, who qualified yesterday, was able to place seventh overall in the event with a time of 8.14. Mahone and
Maliyah Taylor were able to score three points in the 200m dash as Mahone placed seventh with a time of 27.10 and Taylor came in clocked at 27.11.

Miranda Rzendzian was the final Lady Tiger who scored points on Saturday when she placed seventh in the 3,000m run and ran a new school record time of 11:16.93 to beat out her previous school record by just over four seconds of 11:20.99.

Lady Tigers will be back in action again in two weeks when they compete at the NAIA National Championships in South Dakota starting on Feb. 28.
