GEORGETOWN, Ky. – Campbellsville University women's tennis dropped their Saturday dual against Georgetown College last weekend at the Lackey Tennis Center.
Georgetown won the match by a final team score of 7-2 winning all three doubles points and four of the possible six singles points. CU earned singles victories from
Alabina Zaganjor and
Rebeca Scurt as each individual won their match in three sets.
Zaganjor won over Amanda Moore after dropping the first set to finish the match 1-6, 6-2, 6-1 and Scurt dropped a tiebreaker in set one before going on to win the match 6-7, 6-2, 6-4.
That match was the final regular season contest of the 2019 season for Campbellsville as they will move forward with postseason play starting with the Mid-South Conference Tournament in Bowling Green, Ky. starting on Thursday April 18.
