WINONA LAKE, IN. –
Haley Payton continued her NCCAA success this afternoon with a national runner-up finish in the triple jump to lead the Lady Tigers heading into the final day of the NCCAA Championships.
Payton jumped her way into a national runner-up finish on her fifth attempt of the afternoon. She was behind Biola's Hannah Hubbard who won the national championship with a jump of 11.35.
Teychiana Dornan was able to join Payton in scoring in the event when she placed fifth overall with a mark of 10.53m.
Madison Kaiser joined her fellow field event athletes while gaining nine points in the women's javelin and discus throw. Kasier who placed runner-up last year in the javelin throw, was able to repeat that this year with her toss of 37.18m. She picked up her final point on the day in the discus throw when she hit her eighth mark of 32.54m.
Savannah Gregory is looking to improve upon last years national runner-up performance in the women's 400m dash as she made it into tomorrow afternoons finals. She placed third overall in the prelims this afternoon with a time of 57.79.
Krystan Armstrong joined Gregory in moving on into a finals event tomorrow. Armstrong placed fourth in the 100m dash prelims with her time of 12.76.
Michaela Sebastian finished up her weekend as she completed the seven event heptathlon. She placed sixth overall with 2840 points.
The final event of the day scoring for the Lady Tigers was the women's 4x800m relay.

Madeline Rhoads, Gabrielle Velez ran a time of 10:35.16 and placed seventh overall.
Heading into the final day of action, Campbellsville sits in fourth place with 26 points, just two points behind first while six teams are within six points of the lead. The final day of the NCCAA Championships will resume tomorrow morning at 11 AM.
