GREENVILLE, S.C. – Monday afternoon, the NCCAA announced that Jasmin Green was selected as the NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week.
 
As a part of the "Friday Night Spikes" Invitational hosted by Rose-Hulman, Green was able to throw a personal best mark in the weight throw of 16.00 meters.
 
This mark not only gave Green first place in the event, but the throw allowed her to rebreak her own school record, as well as a NAIA-B standard qualifying mark.
 
Green helped lead the Lady Tigers to a second-place team finish with 10 of the team's 89 total points.
 
This announcement comes just hours after Green was named the Mid-South Conference's Female Field Athlete of the Week for her first conference honor of her career.
 
Green and the Lady Tigers will be back in action this Friday as they will revisit Rose-Hulman on Jan. 31 for the Engineer Invitational.
