Lady Tigers roll past Southwestern College Lady Builders improving to 6-2 overall

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Winning five of the last six matches, Campbellsville University picked up its second straight home win over Southwestern College on Monday evening at the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex. 
 
The Lady Tigers swept the Lady Builders 7-0 improving to 6-2 overall. 
 
The Lady Tigers won two of the three doubles matches before sweeping all six singles bouts in order. 
 
Madison Hill and Rebeca Scurt won 6-3 at No. 2 doubles, while Emily Carbo and Blaeke Mitchell won 6-1 at No. 3. With CU leading 1-0 in the dual, the singles matches went in orders from one to six to seal the win. 
 
Brenda Aguilar earned a 6-4, 6-1 win, while Itzel Hernandez won 6-1, 7-5 giving CU a 3-0 lead. 
 
Scurt and Mitchell followed with straight set wins. Scurt won 6-4, 7-5 while Mitchell won 6-2, 6-1. Carbo and Hill finished the dual for Campbellsville winning 6-4, 6-2 and 6-0, 6-0, respectively. 
 
Campbellsville will now host Brescia University on Saturday, March 14 at the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex.
