Hill secures another Top 25 win for Lady Tiger tennis; winning 4-3 over Olivet Nazarene

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Lady Tiger tennis earned another Top 25 win as Campbellsville took down No. 24 Olivet Nazarene on Saturday at the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex, 4-3.
 
The Olivet Nazarene Tigers took a 1-0 lead after taking two of the doubles matches, including a tiebreak at No. 3. Then it was Campbellsville rallying with four wins in six singles matches to secure the upset.
 
Brenda Aguilar and Itzel Hernandez won their doubles match, 6-4, over Dana Huck and Jovana Parlic. Aguilar lost her singles match to Narjis Mzibri, 3-6, 4-6, but Hernandez earned a straight set win 7-6 (7-4), 6-2. 
 
The Lady Tigers also had wins from Rebeca Scurt at No. 3 singles, 6-2, 6-1. Emily Carbo dominated her match, 6-1, 6-2 and Madison Hill secured the late-night win at No. 6 singles with a 6-1, 6-1 straight set victory. 
 
The Top 25 win is the second for the Lady Tigers this season and now the Lady Tigers boast a 5-2 record overall. 
 
CU will host seven straight matches throughout March at the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex. CU starts with Southwestern College on Monday, March 9 at 2 p.m. ET. It's been moved to Monday with potential weather scheduled for Wednesday (which was the original date of the match).
