BOWLING GREEN, KY – For the sixth year in a row the Tigers place runner-up at the Mid-South Conference Championships Friday afternoon.
Campbellsville was able to walk away with four all-conference performances to end up with 69 points total. Fifth year senior
Sam Kiser was able to punch his ticket to the national championship placing fifth overall in a time of 26:10.7.
Shawn Little was also able to put himself into the national championship. Little was able to earn first team all-conference honors with his 9
th place finishing time of 26:51.7.
Collin Sheffield came up with another clutch performance this year at the conference championship. Sheffield placed 16
th overall with his time of 27:14.4. Fifth year senior
Jacob Hamilton placed 19
th overall with a time of 27:24.5.
Rounding out the top five for the Tigers was freshman
Lukas Smithson. Smithson placed 24
th overall with a time of 27:34.6. Smithson earned Mid-South Conference Freshman of the Year honors by being the first true freshman to finish in the race.
The Tigers final two runners in the top seven were
Dakota Brady and
Jarrett Crawford. Brady placed 28
thoverall with a time of 27:44.4 while Crawford placed 29
th at 27:49.6.
Assistant Coach
Taylor Grove earned Mid-South Conference Men's Assistant Coach of the Year award.

Shawnee State won the men's title once again this year finishing with 24 points. The Bears placed four runners in front of the Tigers second man and seven runners in front of Campbellsville's third man.
The Tigers will learn their national championship fate Monday when the championship field will be announced.
