CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Heading into their first stretch of Mid-South Conference games of the season, the Campbellsville University men's volleyball team will play three matches in three days starting on Thursday.
The Tigers will head down to Lebanon, Tenn. to face Cumberland University at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT before returning home for a pair of matches on Saturday against Carlow University at 10 a.m. ET then against Thomas More University at 4 p.m. ET at Gosser Gymnasium.

TIGER NOTES
- Campbellsville is in the midst of a five-match winning streak that started back on Jan. 22 during the NCCAA Invitational Championship Tournament as they've only dropped three total sets during the win streak.
- As a result of their success, CU has had three individuals earn weekly honors as most recently Jeremy Hernandez earned his second-straight MSC Setter of the Week and NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week.
- In their match against Lincoln, the Tigers were able to get experience for a majority of their freshman got on the court with Jakob Zum Kolk, Andres Laboy, Damien Cole, and Mason McKinney recorded multiple kills against the Lynx.
- CU made quicker work of Goshen in their second match of the season against the Maple Leafs as they swept GC after needing to come back from down 2-0 back on Jan. 8.
SCOUTING CUMBERLAND
- The Phoenix are 2-3 in the early part of the season as they earned wins against Carolina University and Reinhard University in their first two matches of the year.
- They're currently on a three-match losing streak as they've suffered losses to Life, William Penn, and Missouri Baptist while only winning two sets in that stretch.
- Three players have over 40 kills for the Phoenix as Christian Lester leads the team with his 53 kills.
SCOUTING CARLOW
- The Celtics will literally be playing in their first ever match as a program in Campbellsville on Saturday as their first three scheduled matches in their inaugural season were either canceled or postponed.
- Carlow's roster is comprised of just seven players, good for a full starting six and a libero.
SCOUTING THOMAS MORE
- The Saints have only played a single match this season as they earned a sweep against Lincoln College on Jan. 22.
- They will be facing Midway and Carlow prior to meeting the Tigers on Saturday.
- In their match against Lincoln, Jan Nunez-Gonzalez led the way for TMU with eight kills as five other players had two or more kills.
LOOKING AHEAD
- The Tigers will hit the road for Virginia on Saturday Feb. 20 when they play a pair of matches hosted by Bluefield College at 2 p.m. ET and 4 p.m. ET.
