NEW ALBANY, IN – The Lady Tigers were able to follow in the footsteps of the men's team with a 6-1 victory over Indiana University Southeast Tuesday afternoon.
In doubles,
Madison Hill and
Rebeca Scurt were able to bring in the first victory on the day for the team over Addy DeWitt and Anna Littlefield at 6-1.
Scurt was the first Lady Tiger to bring in a victory in singles play. She defeated DeWitt (6-3, 6-2).
Addison Sutton followed Scurt in a straight sets victory when she won her match (6-1, 6-0).
Freshman
Emily Hibbs won her first match of her career for the Lady Tigers. She defeated Emma Ellis in straight sets (6-0, 6-2).
Madison Hill secured the victory for Campbellsville in her match against Littlefield. It took a second set tie break to bring in the win. Hill won the match (7-5, 7-6 (3))
The Lady Tigers will be back in action on Thursday February 25 for their first home match of the 2021 season. That match will begin at 1 p.m. at the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex.
