CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY – The Lady Tigers start off their four match homestand with a 7-0 victory over Thomas More Friday afternoon.
Brenda Aguilar and
Madison Hill were the first group to finish their doubles match. They won the match with a clean sweep of (6-0).
Angela Mendoza and
Addison Sutton were able to finish behind Aguilar and Hill with a (6-2) win.
Rebeca Scurt and
Emily Carbo completed the doubles sweep for the Lady Tigers with a (6-4) win.
Aguilar and Mendoza cruised through their singles matches. Aguilar pulled in the victory with a (6-1, 6-1) win while Mendoza won with a (6-0, 6-1).
Blaeke Mitchell mader her presence known in singles play with her decisive (6-0, 6-1) victory. Doubles partners Scurt and Carbo were able to bring in both two set wins. Scurt won in (6-1, 6-1) while Carbo won in (6-4, 6-2).
Hill was pushed in her singles matchup with her victory going to the third set. She was able to come back after falling the second set with a final score of (6-2, 3-6, 10-4).
The Lady Tigers will be back in action tomorrow for a match against Georgetown College. That match will begin at 2 PM at the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex.
