Lady Tigers close out the regular season with a 7-0 sweep over Freed-Hardeman

HENDERSON, TENN – The Lady Tigers closed out the regular season Saturday afternoon with a sweep over Freed-Hardeman 7-0.
 
The sweep got started in doubles when Emily Hibbs and Addison Sutton were able to secure the first set of points for the team. They won their matchup (6-3). Angela Mendoza and Rebeca Scurt were able to bring in a (6-1) victory.
 
Madison Hill and Brenda Aguilar won the final round of doubles in the first spot with a (6-4) win.
 
In singles play Itzel Hernandez was pushed to a three set match in which she came out the victor (6-4, 4-6, 10-4). Aguilar and Mendoza were able to bring in two back to back victories with Aguilar won (6-0, 6-2) while Mendoza won (6-1, 6-1).
 
Emily Carbo, Scurt, and Hill all three won their singles match (6-0, 6-0).
 
Campbellsville will now head to the Mid-South Conference Championships in Owensboro, Kentucky April 15-18.
