CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY – The Lady Tigers were able to bring in two wins in two days over Cumberland University and Martin Methodist.
They defeated Cumberland University 4-3 while taking care of business against Martin Methodist 6-1.
Itzel Hernandez and
Angela Mendoza were able to go 2-0 over the past two days in doubles. Against Cumberland University they were able to win with a score of (6-2) while defeating Martin Methodist (6-3).
Madison Hill pulled in the three set win over her opponent from Cumberland University (4-6, 6-2, 6-2). Hill was able to breeze through her day against Martin Methodist with a (6-0, 6-0).
Blaeke Mitchell joined Hill in the three set battle against Cumberland University. She was also able to come away with a win (4-6, 6-4, 6-3).
Rebeca Scurt went 2-0 over the last two days in singles play. In her bout against Cumberland she won (6-2, 6-2) while having a similar score line of (6-2, 6-1).
Addison Sutton was able to bring in a key win for the Lady Tigers against Martin Methodist. She won in two sets at (6-0, 6-2).
The Lady Tigers are back in action Saturday April 3 when they travel to Lindsey Wilson. That match will begin at 2 p.m.
