BOWLING GREEN, KY – Sam Kiser used every bit of his fifth year experience Friday evening as he pulled away in the final home stretch to win his first cross country meet of his career.
Kiser who has had numerous amounts of accomplishments, checked off one more on the list. Kiser was able to complete the 8K course in a time of 27:16.1 ahead of teammate
Shawn Little. Little followed closely behind Kiser with his runner-up performance finishing in 27:19.9.
Proving himself once again,
Dakota Brady kept the top three harriers for the Tigers close. Brady finished fourth overall with his time of 27:50.6. Fellow freshmen
Lukas Smithson is starting to figure out the 8K distance more and more each race. Smithson finished the race in seventh place with his time of 28:15.9
Last time he was on the course
Collin Sheffield ran an all-conference performance. Sheffield was able to run his way to a top 15 finish placing 12
th with his time of 28:46.4. Freshmen Sam Bennett came in right behind Sheffield placing 13
th running a 28:48.5.
Jarrett Crawford worked his way into the Tigers top seven coming in as seventh man. Crawford placed 15
th in the race running 29:04.6.
Campbellsville's spread this week for their 1-5 runners sat at 1:30.3 Friday evening. They won the meet with an overall team score of 26 points placing their top four runners in the top seven of the race.
