Lady Tigers have key performances lead the way to open up 2022 portion of schedule

LOUISVILLE, KY – Key performances were the key to the Lady Tigers kickstart to the 2022 portion of their schedule Friday evening in Louisville.
 
There were a total of six top ten finishes on the day for the team. Haley Payton and Alexia Boyd were able to collect four total. Payton earned a runner-up finish in the triple jump with a mark of 11.19m on her first attempt. She followed up with a fifth place finish in the long jump landing at 5.11m. 
 
Boyd finishes close behind Payton in long jump narrowly placing sixth with her mark at 5.10m. In the triple jump, Boyd placed eighth overall with at 9.81m.
 
Jamila Garba was the final Lady Tiger able to accomplish a top ten finish for the team. Garba fifth in both of her events in the 60m dash and 200m dash. In the 60m dash she ran a time of 7.89, while in the 200m dash she crossed the line in 25.79.
 
Campbellsville will return to Louisville next Friday when they will co-host with Georgetown College for the Tiger-Paw Invitational.
