DANVILLE, Ky. – The Lady Tiger Tennis team hit the road again for their fourth of six straight road matches.
Campbellsville started out a little slow only taking one of three doubles matches. The #2 doubles pair of
Angela Mendoza and
Madison Hill came away with the 8-4 victory.
The Lady Tigers came out clutch and regained the lead in singles competition. #1 Mendoza, #2
Oriana Espinoza, #3
Ariadna Lerchundi, #5
Blaeke Mitchell, and #6
Addison Sutton all came away with wins for CU. Mendoza won a tough three set match (1-6, 7-6, 10-6). Espinoza was in another tight match with scores of 2-6, 7-5, 10-3. The trio of Lerchundi, Mitchell, and Sutton all won in straight sets.
CU returns to the court on Saturday with a matchup in Crestview Hills, against the Saints of Thomas More.
