GREENVILLE, ILL – After the second day of competition, Campbellsville is still in the hunt for the title sitting in third place with 34 points.
Emma Steff and
Haley Payton led the way with 20 points total after the duo won NCCAA titles. Payton won her fourth NCCAA triple jump title of her career and hit an NAIA A Standard mark in the finals to win with a mark of 11.75m. Steff won in fashion by putting her opponent to rest in the final 300m of the 10,000m race. Steff won with a time of 41:45.58.
Nina Daman came in with her first All-American honor of her career with a clutch third place finish in the 10,000m run with a time of 42:59.51.
Campbellsville has three athletes qualify for the finals in the 100m dash.
Jamila Garba was the first athlete to lead the trio with an NAIA B Standard time of 12.12.
Alexia Boyd will be the fourth seeded athlete in finals at 12.17 and
LaAuhnni Lewis will be the seventh seed in finals with her prelim time of 12.28.
In the 200m prelims, Garba and Boyd will both go in as the top ranked athletes in the finals. Garba came in with a time of 24.65 in prelims while Boyd hits an NAIA A Standard in the 200m at 24.68.
The 4x800m relay was the final event that saw points on the day. Steff led the way just an hour before the 10,000m run with an opening leg in the event.

Hailey Shank were able to run a new school record time at 9:48.91 placing second overall.
Lady Tigers will look to jump up the leaderboard for the final day of competition on Friday beginning with the 5,000m run.
