WALESKA, Ga. – The Lady Tigers took to the road to face the Reinhardt University Eagles on Saturday, seeking revenge for their loss just a couple weeks ago in Campbellsville. Despite the Lady Tigers' efforts, their offense struggled and they lost 18-8.
Throughout the game, Jaycie Harper, Anaya Showers and Emma Walker collected six tackles each. Marissa Rankin attempted 18 rushes, gaining 83 yards for the Lady Tigers and averaging 4.61 yards per rush. Alexis Thomas received three passes gaining 57 yards for Campbellsville and averaging 19 yards per pass.
At the end of the game, Campbellsville collected seven first downs, compared to Reinhardt's two. The Lady Tigers averaged 7.33 yards per play against the Eagles' 3.71. In average yards per rush, Campbellsville averaged 5.82 yards per rush to Reinhardt's 1.60 yards per rush.
The Lady Tigers will be back in action on Monday, April 3th, against the University of Fort Lauderdale in Babson Park, Florida.
