LOUISVILLE, KY – Campbellsville was in two locations over the weekend, with part of the team at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational and the other part at the IUPUI Invitational.
In Louisville,
Jamila Garba placed inside the top-20 in the 200m with a 19th-place finish of 25.80.
Victoria Young dipped under the 60-second barrier for the first time this season, placing 12th in 59.72.
Hailey Shank gave the Tigers a top-25 finish in the mile run with her PR of 5:22.92, placing 23rd.
Makiyah Allen was .03 off her PR in the 60m hurdles, placing 17th in 9.01.
Campbellsville did manage to punch a relay ticket to the NAIA National Championship with the 4x400m relay hitting NAIA B Standard.
Piper Clark,
KaNiya Douglas, Garba, and Young ran a school record time of 3:57.63.
In the long jump,
Alexia Boyd placed 8th, with her best jump coming from her second attempt of the day at 5.19m.
Layla Taylor was one spot off a top-25 finish in the shot put with her mark of 9.16m.
Kayla Barr placed 26th in the weight throw at 11.69m.
In Indianapolis,
Ariana Simmons was in the pentathlon, where she placed 16th with a school record of 2,067 points.
The Tigers will now look ahead to the NCCAA Indoor Championships February 9-10 in Cedarville, Ohio.
