4x400m relay sets school record, Tigers finish out day one at NAIA Championships

BROOKINGS, S.D. – The Tigers began the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships on Thursday with the 4x400m relay highlighting a school record performance.
 
KaNiya Douglas, Jaci Johnson, Piper Clark, and Victoria Young were able to run 2.37 seconds faster than the previous record with a time of 3:55.36 placing 15th in the preliminary round.
 
Hailey Shank made her second appearance at the NAIA Championships this afternoon. Shank placed 22nd in the prelims with a time of 18:33.16 in the 5,000m run. 
 
Campbellsville will have a full day of events on Friday, March 1st with both the men and women's squads competing throughout the day.
