CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.- The #14 Tigers hosted the University of Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines on Monday night. Campbellsville took their second consecutive win of the season with a three-goal advantage to Michigan-Dearborn, 4-1.

- Campbellsville surpassed Michigan-Dearborn in most statistical categories of the match: shots (22-4), shots on goal (18-2), corners (10-1), and goals (4-1).
- Freshman Alejandra Rocha led the Tigers with two goals, and sophomore Amelie Matheis had five shots and four shots on goal.
- Sophomore Sydney Hall collected her first save of the season during tonight's game.
- Tonight's game was Campbellsville's first-ever match against Michigan-Dearborn.
- The Tigers will be back in action, traveling to Spring Arbor, Michigan, to play against the Aquinas College Saints on Saturday, August 30th, beginning at 6 p.m. ET.
In the first five minutes of the first half, Alejandra Rocha scored two back-to-back goals for Campbellsville, earning the Tigers an early lead. A few seconds later, Michigan-Dearborn retaliated with a goal of their own. Julia Ogren struck again with another goal halfway through the first 45 minutes of play. After a couple of blocked and saved shots from Campbellsville, Amelie Matheis came into the game with the Tigers' fourth goal, increasing the Wolverines' deficit on the scoreboard. Campbellsville's offense continued to collect shot after shot while the defense kept Michigan-Dearborn at bay, unable to even come close to the box to attempt any shots, closing the first half with the Tigers leading 4-1.
Both teams attempted shots coming into the second half, but neither managed to score as the contest continued to unfold, resulting in a Campbellsville victory.
