Campbellsville comes in at #8 in newest NAIA Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Campbellsville University men's wrestling team landed at #8 in the sixth regular-season edition of the NAIA Men's Wrestling Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released Thursday by the national office. The Tigers gathered 139 team points, sliding one spot from their previous ranking following a split in Mid-South Conference dual action.

Mid-South Conference rival Cumberlands (Ky.) moved to #7 with 141 points after edging Campbellsville 19-18 in a dual last week.

Despite the slight shift in team standing, the Tigers feature a deep lineup with ten ranked individuals, including five staying firm in the top ten.

Jasitin Kubwimana continues to anchor the squad, holding steady at #4 in the 165-pound weight class. He recently added a first-period pin in the Tigers' dual victory over Georgetown.

Nik Yancey and Nick Moore also maintained their top-10 status. Yancey stays at #8 at 149 pounds after picking up a pin against Georgetown and a decision win over a ranked opponent from Cumberlands. Moore holds the #9 spot at 141 pounds, highlighted by a major decision win in the Georgetown dual.
