Tigers receive votes in first-ever NAIA Flag Football Preseason Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Campbellsville University Flag Football team, two weeks from their season debut, were announced as receiving votes in the first-ever NAIA Women's Flag Football Top-Ten, the national office announced Thursday.

Coming off a year that saw the team win a program-record 10 games, Campbellsville is set to launch their fourth season. It is Head Coach Spencer McCown's first year leading the program, taking over for first-ever coach Chris Kidwell. The Lady Tigers will begin the upcoming season with eight incoming freshmen added to their roster. Campbellsville holds an overall record of 24-34 since the sport first emerged at Campbellsville in 2023.

Previous Campbellsville opponents have also filled the ranks in this debut poll, preceded in by Milligan, William Woods, Midland, and Graceland, and followed by Siena Heights and Southwestern. On February 8th, the Lady Tigers will face #9 Milligan on the Buffaloes home field, their seventh match-up between the two. Campbellsville leads their history 4-2 in six previous contests.

Two Mid-South Conference institutions join the sport coming into this season, the Cumberland Phoenix, with two set matches on March 11th and April 1st, and the Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders set for two Battles of Highway 55 on March 13th and April 3rd.

Much like the past three seasons, the Lady Tigers will be hosting their annual flag football frenzy on March 27th and 28th.
