CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Following an unbeaten four-match start highlighted by 17 goals and two shutouts, the Campbellsville University women's soccer team received votes in the NAIA Top 25 poll released Wednesday.

The Tigers are 3-0-1 after victories over Brescia University, Union Commonwealth University, and the University of Pikeville, along with a draw against Xavier University of Louisiana. Campbellsville has won two consecutive matches and is 2-0 at home.

Campbellsville opened the season with a 5-0 road victory over Brescia on Aug. 22 before drawing Xavier 2-2 three days later. The Tigers returned home to defeat Union Commonwealth 4-0 and Pikeville 6-2.

Through four matches, Campbellsville has outscored its opponents 17-4 and holds a 102-24 advantage in total shots. The Tigers are averaging 4.25 goals and 25.5 shots per match while limiting opponents to one goal and six shots per contest. Campbellsville has also placed 48 attempts on target, compared with 13 by its opposition.

The Tigers have been particularly productive after halftime, scoring 14 of their 17 goals in the second period. Campbellsville has conceded all four of its goals after the break, after holding each of its first four opponents scoreless in the opening half.

Marta Prieto leads the Tigers with four goals and eight points on a team-high 20 shots. Fiona Jolly has recorded three goals, one assist, and two game-winning goals, while Amelie Matheis has added three goals, including one match-winner.

Grace Smith has scored twice on six shots, and Julia Ogren has added two goals. Laura Munoz has converted both of her attempts this season, including one penalty kick, while also helping Campbellsville earn a 22-9 advantage in corner kicks.

Oddny Helgadottir leads Campbellsville with two assists. Jessie Amphlett, Sofia Lara, Jolly, and Ella Palframan have each contributed one assist as the Tigers have received goals from eight players.

Sydney Hall has played 333 minutes, 44 seconds in goal, recording eight saves. Verena Schneider has not conceded a goal across two appearances totaling 20:27. Campbellsville has posted two team shutouts.

Four Mid-South Conference programs appear in the Top 25. The University of the Cumberlands moved to No. 1, Lindsey Wilson University climbed to No. 13, and Cumberland University is ranked No. 20.

The upcoming schedule will give the Tigers additional opportunities against nationally recognized opposition. Campbellsville is set to host Indiana Tech at 6 p.m. Saturday at Finley Stadium before visiting Georgetown College on Tuesday.

The Tigers are also scheduled to host No. 19 Spring Arbor University on Sept. 10 and visit No. 17 Taylor University on Sept. 16.
