Career Record at CU: 96-43

CU RECORD BOOK: Spencer Adams enters the 2012 NAIA National Tournament fourth on the Tigers' all-time wins list with 96. He is also second on the career record list for most major decisions (13) and most tech falls (5).

2011-12: In his fourth season as a member of the Campbellsville University wrestling program, Adams posted a 20-6 record entering the NAIA National Tournament. He was co-champion of the Mid-South Conference Tournament at 197 pounds and runner-up in the NAIA East Qualifying Group to teammate Jamelle Jones. He concluded the regular season with an NAIA national ranking of No. 4.

2010-11: As a junior, Adams posted a 24-14 record and won the MSC title for 197 pounds. He finished runner-up in the NAIA East qualifier and placed fifth in the NAIA National Tournament to receive his second career All-America honor.

2009-10: During his sophomore season, Adams became the sixth wrestler to post a 30-win season with a record of 30-15. He fell short of the All-America round at the NAIA National Tournament after placing third in the NAIA East qualifer and winning his first of three Mid-South Conference championships.

2008-09: Adams began his career with the Tigers with a 22-9 record his freshman season and went on to be named an NAIA All-American with a sixth-place finish at 184 pounds in the NAIA National Tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL: As a four-year wrestler at Marion Pleasant High School, Adams was a three-time Ohio state qualifier and two-time state placer.

PERSONAL: He is the son of Trevor and Carolin Adams. In addition to wrestling, Adams is president of Green Minds Environment awareness group on the Campbellsville University campus. He is the father of a 10 month-old son.
