CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – For the third-straight week,
Kaede Amano was named as the NCCAA Women's Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week, the national office announced on Monday night.
During four duals last week, Amano went 4-0 at both No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles for the Lady Tigers. She also lost only six games – two in singles, four in doubles – en route to her eight victories.

Majella Nobile posted three 8-0 wins at No. 1 doubles against NCAA Division II Lake Superior State University, Asbury University and Shawnee State University. Amano and Nobile capped off the week with an 8-4 win over Samantha Fraser and Andrea Hurtado of University of Pikeville.
In singles competition, the lone games she lost came to Alexiann Drouin of Lake Superior State in a 6-2, 6-0 contest.
Over the final three matches of the week, Amano won 6-0, 6-0 over Caitlin Conyers of Asbury, Shelby Hay from Shawnee State and Fraser from Pikeville at top-seeded singles.
During eight dual matches this season, Amano has posted an 8-0 record at No. 1 doubles, to go along with an 8-0 mark at No. 1 singles.
The Lady Tigers return to action on Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m. ET against No. 1 Georgia Gwinnett College on the road in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
