CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — The Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced recently that Campbellsville's Neely Quint earned Google Cloud Academic All-America® honors.

The CoSIDA Academic All-District honor is the first for Quint in her career.

CoSIDA recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot, with first- and second-team Academic All-America® honorees to be announced in June.

Campbellsville competes in District Two and Quint is one of three Mid-South Conference student-athletes earned the honor for the College Division. She joins Cumberland University's Tyra Graham and Lindsey Wilson's Cassie Kooker.

Quint was named the MSC Pitcher of the Year and has a 3.50 GPA as a graduate student. She led the Mid-South in earned run average (1.52) and wins (29). In addition, she tossed 202.2 innings her senior campaign while striking out 114 and opponents hit .247 off her.

The 29 wins ranks second in the country, while her 0.83 walks per game is 13th along with innings pitched and saves (3).

The 29 wins broke the Campbellsville single-season record and Quint also reached 86 career wins – which set the career record in CU history.

She finished her career second in CU history in innings pitched (655), appearances (124), games started (108) and fourth in ERA.

Quint led Campbellsville to its eighth Mid-South Conference regular season title, fifth MSC Tournament championship and second straight NAIA Opening Rount host bid. The Lady Tigers finished the season with a 47-10 record.

The Google Cloud Academic All-District® teams are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. The Google Cloud Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and College Division. The College Division includes all NAIA, Canadian, two-year schools and other affiliations.
