CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Mid-South Conference officials announced Campbellsville's Madison Faulkner as the Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday. 
 
Faulkner averaged 18 points, six rebounds and three steals per game in a pair of the Lady Tiger wins over Faulkner University and rival Georgetown College.
 
She recorded her first career double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds in the Tigers 95-53 victory over Faulkner.
 
Faulkner then scored 19 points with two rebounds and three steals in Campbellsville's 78-64 MSC opener against Georgetown.
 
She finished the week shooting 42.4 percent from the field and 80 percent from the charity stripe to earn her second weekly honor of the season and her career. 
 
Faulkner ranks fourth in the MSC in scoring with 13.7 points per game and has helped the No. 7 Lady Tigers to a 15-2 record this season.
 
The Lady Tigers get back in action on Thursday as Cumberland University travels to the Powell Athletic Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET.
