COLUMBIA, Ky. – Tiger men's volleyball freshman Jason Camacho was named NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week, the NCCAA announced Monday. This recognition adds to Camacho earning a spot on the Campbellsville University Invitational All-Tournament Team and Mid-South Conference Attacker of the Week over the past three days.
 
Camacho, a freshman from Orlando, Fla., received the Attacker of the Week honor for the second-straight week after recording a total of 37 kills, 25 assists, 21 digs and six service aces in their three matches over the weekend.
 
In their loss to No. 4 Missouri Baptist on Friday, Camacho led all attackers with 16 kills. He also recorded a double-double with a match-high 19 kills while adding 11 digs in their upset win against No. 10 St. Andrews. Camacho then subbed in at setter for two sets against Cincinnati Christian to record 24 assists to lead the Tigers.
 
Campbellsville men's volleyball will hit the road this weekend for two matches against Life University and a rematch against St. Andrews in Marietta, Ga. on Friday and Saturday.
