CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — After leading the Lady Tigers to a 4-0 week, Campbellsville's Jacqueline Roof earns Mid-South Conference Softball Player of the Week honors, officials announced on Monday afternoon.
 
Roof, a junior from Paducah, Ky., earned her third MSC weekly honor this year and the fifth of her career.
 
She compiled a .583 average last week and slugged 1.583 as Campbellsville swept Bryan College and Kentucky Christian. Roof also smashed three home runs, scored eight runs and finished with eight RBIs.
 
In three of the four games, Roof had two hits. She started the week going 2-for-3 with a grand slam. In the 10-2 win over Bryan, she also scored three times.
 
The Lady Tigers finish the regular season with a 35-11 record and will be the No. 2-seed in the upcoming MSC Tournament, which is slated to start on Friday, April 28. Complete brackets and pairings will be announced by the conference office later this week.
