CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Jessie PendletonAnnija Abolina and Maliyah Tela swept the Mid-South Conference Women's Volleyball Player of the Week honors, the conference office announced on the Monday.
 
Pendleton earns her seventh MSC Defender of the Week honor in her career, while Abolina was named the MSC Attacker of the Week for the fourth time. This is Tela's first conference weekly honor in her career.
 
The Campbellsville trio led the Lady Tigers to two more victories last week, moving to 8-0 on the season – which in the program's best start since 2005.
 
Over the two matches, Abolina recorded a .443 attacking percentage, while compiling 38 kills, 17 digs and six blocks in seven sets this past week. In a 3-1 win at University of the Cumberlands, she recorded her first double-double of the season with 24 kills and 15 digs. Against Asbury University, Abolina notched 14 kills and three blocks.
 
On the season, Abolina has the 27th-best attacking percentage in the NAIA at .327 and she leads the Lady Tigers with 97 kills, while chipping in with 21 blocks.
 
Pendleton averaged 6.57 digs per set this past week as she finished with 46 digs against Cumberlands and Asbury. She recorded a season-high 30 digs in a four-set victory on the road against Cumberlands.
 
In just four matches this season, Pendleton has recorded a team-high 88 digs and averages 5.87 digs per set.
 
Tela averaged 13.14 assists per set last week, while chipping with four aces and 15 digs. She recorded of career-high 51 assists off 59 kills against the Patriots. Tela then followed with 41 assists on 44 kills against Asbury.
 
This season, Tela has the fourth-best assist per set average (11.15) in nation over the first eight games. As a team the Lady Tigers have averaged 13.26 kills per set. Tela also has a team-high 13 aces for Campbellsville.
 
The Lady Tigers are back in Mid-South Conference action on Tuesday night against No. 18 Georgetown College at 7 p.m. ET.
