CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Hunter Brown and Bradley Bates garnered Mid-South Conference Bluegrass Division Player of the Week honors, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.

Brown earns his third weekly of the season, while Bates picks up his first conference honor this year.

In Campbellsville's 58-25 victory over Kentucky Christian University on Saturday night, Brown threw for a season-high 436 yards and completed 28-of-46 passes. The redshirt-senior capped off the game with two more touchdown passes to push his season total to 12.

Brown leads the NAIA with 386.5 passing yards and he is second in the nation with 375.8 total yards. As a team, the Tigers have orchestrated the best passing attack in the nation with 399.0 yards per game.

Bates found his rhythm in the kicking game against the Knights after he compiled 16 points, which set a new kicking program record. The Campbellsville, Ky., native went 3-for-3 in field goal opportunities hitting field goals from 19, 25 and 37 yards. Bates also made all seven of his extra points in the contest.

On kickoffs, Bates recorded a pair of touchbacks on 11 tries and averaged 58.2 yards per kick. He also punted the ball once for 39 yards, pinning the Knights back inside their own 20-yard line.

Bates leads the Mid-South Conference and is second in the NAIA with nine kicking points per game. His 36 points are fourth in the conference and 22nd in the NAIA among kickers.

This is Brown's fourth weekly honor of his career, while Bates garners his second weekly recognition of his career.

Rounding out the MSC Bluegrass Division honors is Cumberland University's Tyler Tate, who was named the MSC Bluegrass Defender of the Week.
