CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Rachel Blumfeldt garnered her first career Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Week accolades, the conference office announced on Monday.
 
Blumfeldt is the first Lady Tiger to earn a Mid-South weekly recognition this season.
 
In her lone appearance last week, the freshman recorded her first career collegiate hat trick in Campbellsville's 4-1 victory over Life University on Saturday night.
 
This is the second time a Lady Tiger has recorded a hat trick this season after Molly Hall scored three times against Oakland City.
 
On the season, Blumfeldt leads the team with 10 goals – which is fourth in the Mid-South. She also ranks fifth in the MSC with 21 points.
 
Campbellsville is now 4-9-1 on the season and 2-1-1 in the MSC.
 
The Lady Tigers are back at home on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. ET against University of the Cumberlands for Senior Night.
 
Ashley Kambeitz of Cumberland University rounded out the conference honors this week with her third-straight MSC Defensive Player of the Week honor.
