CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- First-year Campbellsville Tiger
Tim Thurston shot up to No. 1 in the recent NAIA wrestling rankings released Tuesday, while the Tigers move to No. 5 in the team rankings.
Tommy Pretty remains No. 1 in the 141-pound rankings making Campbellsville one of three schools in the NAIA to claim the top spot in at least two weights.
Campbellsville moved up one spot to No. 5 after finishing fourth at the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA)/Cliff Keen National Duals last weekend.
National Duals champ and defending NAIA national champion Notre Dame College (Ohio) remains No. 1 in the team standings, while Grand View (Iowa) is second, Great Falls (Mont.) is third and Missouri Valley is fifth. Mid-South Conference foe Cumberland University (Tenn.) is sixth. Lindsey Wilson College also represents the MSC at No. 15.

Campbellsville, 10-3 in dual action, travels to Shorter College on Jan. 15 to take on Shorter and Lindsey Wilson.
