CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Thursday afternoon, the Tigers added another central Kentucky product to their roster in Sam Bennett out of Central Hardin High School.

Bennett comes to CU after a stellar cross country and track career for the Bruins, as he won the 2019 3A Region 2 3200-meter race, was the 2020 Lincoln Trail Heartland Conference XC Champion, 2020 3A Region 2 XC runner-up, a three-time first team all-conference recipient, and the 2020 All-Area Runner of the Year.

The son of Fabian and Michelle Bennett, Sam plans on receiving his degree in business with a focus in accounting.

Bennett looks to add to the depth of the Tiger's recruiting class, joining Dakota Brady and Jaden Hess as third signee for Campbellsville.
