This Season at CU: Katie Allen is entering her senior season at Campbellsville. She is currently seventh in school history for assists (418).
2012-13: Allen played in 35 games her junior season with 34 starts. She averaged 6.4 PPG and a team high 5.8 APG. She also received honors for Academic All-MSC, Team Captain, and NAIA Scholar Athlete.
2011-12: During her sophomore season, Allen played in 33 games and started 31. She was second on team in minutes played a game with 27.8. She averaged 7.2 PPG and 5.6 APG.
2010-11: Allen played in 29 games in her freshman year. She averaged 7.1 minutes per game and 1.6 PPG.
High School: The Fort Thomas Highlands product and 9th Region Player of the Year was named to the Kentucky team for the Kentucky/Indiana All-Star game. She averaged 18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals a game as a senior for the 19-8 Bluebirds. Allen was named the Northern Kentucky Division II Player of the Year during her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. Allen has played high school ball since she was in the sixth grade and has been a varsity contributor since the eighth grade. She scored 1,909 points during her career at Highlands.
AAU: Allen played five years for Hoopsters and was the KY State Champion three years in a row.
Personal: Majoring in sports management with a business minor. Her parents are Jeff and Martha Allen.
