CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — For the first time in her career, junior Morgan Gailor was named the Mid-South Conference Pitcher of the Week, officials announced on Monday.
 
Gailor, from Louisville, Ky., tossed five shutout innings on Sunday afternoon vs. Calumet College of St. Joseph.
 
She allowed only one-hit — the first one-hitter of her career — and struck out four en route to the 11-0 victory.
 
No. 12 Campbellsville swept Opening Day on Sunday with a pair of run-rule victories over the Crimsonwave. In addition to the 11-0 win in game two, the Lady Tigers defeated Calumet 16-6 in game one to start the season with a 2-0 record.
 
The Lady Tigers are scheduled to play this weekend at home but possible schedule changes are on the horizon. More details will be posted on Monday night.
