CAREER – Bret, who redshirted at Washington State University last year after playing two seasons for the Cougars, signed with CU this year and will begin his first season as a Tiger in 2012-13.

2009-10, 2010-11 (Washington State University) – Led his team to the Arkansas NCAA Regional Tournament two years in a row.
HIGH SCHOOL – Played baseball for Woodinville High School for three years, where he and the team set the career wins record … Was named Pitcher of the Year and Seattle Times Athlete of the Week … In the postseason, led his team all the way to the KingCo playoffs.
CLUB – Competed for the Baden Baseball club team for 4 years.
ORGANIZATIONS/VOLUNTEER WORK – Serves as a reading buddy … Helps with the Miracle League baseball team of SW Washington.
