CAREER – The 2012-13 season will be Josh’s first playing for CU. He was a member of the baseball team at Pierce College for 2 years before transferring this year.
2010-11, 2011-12 (Pierce College) – In 2012, posted a .363 BA and hit 38 RBIs … Was voted West Region Division MVP … Received the Gold Glove Award … Named 1st team All-NWAACC and ABCA All-American … In the postseason, Josh aided his team in becoming the NWAACC champions … Batted a .426 average … Was named tournament MVP.
HIGH SCHOOL – Played baseball for Mt. Rainier High School for 3 years … His senior season, 2010, he earned a .500 BA and hit 7 homers … Was voted 1st team All-Seamount League … Also voted 3A All-state game participant … Postseason results include two 5th-place finishes in the state tournament in 2009 and 2010.
