CAREER -- Tylar is a transfer from Northeastern Junior College, where he played for two years before making the switch to CU for the 2012-13 season.
2010-11, 2011-12 (Northeastern Junior College) – Pitched 97 innings and recorded 129 strikeouts, 47 walks, and a 1.82 ERA.
HIGH SCHOOL – Played baseball for Chaparral High School … Throughout his four-year career, he had a 1.38 ERA, a 1.5 WHIP, 295 strikeouts … At the plate, he batted a .330 average, hit 9 homers and 23 triples, and stole 68 bases … His junior year, Tylar was voted All-conference … His senior year, as the team captain, he also received All-conference honors after leading his team to conference and regional titles and a 4th-place finish at the state tournament.
